My role in these broadcasts is typically producing the stream, as well as running the switcher board or working the camera. For the 2017-18 school year, my main role has been producing the stream. Producing the stream means launching the stream and making sure everything is running smoothly as well as running the game clock and updating the score. My main roles in the 2016-17 school year were running camera and running switcher, which is choosing the camera footage that gets broadcast at which time.

Alcohol Awareness Video – January 2018
I filmed, directed and edited this video for the Teen Advisory Board at West Linn High School in order to spread awareness to the student body. I used Adobe Premiere to edit the clips together.
Brotherhood – May 2017
I wanted to make this video because I noticed that the dynamic of the 2017 West Linn HS varsity baseball team was different than any other team I’ve watched play. I went into this project with a very vague idea of what I wanted to do. After a few interviews with the players, I realized that the team was a lot closer and more tight-knit than I had originally anticipated. This production was written, directed, partially filmed and edited by myself, and most of the photos were submitted by the teammates. This video was produced in Adobe Premiere.
Adjusting to A Whole New Ballgame – May 2016
This was the first video production I made in my Journalism 1 class my sophomore year. This is a feature story about two brothers that moved to West Linn in search of more opportunities. I used premier for the first time on this piece and I learned the basics of feature-video production, as well as gathering interviews and presenting accurate information in video format.
